The Volume Flexible Economic Lot Scheduling Problem using Time-Varying Lot Sizes Approach

 In this paper, we consider the Economic Lot Scheduling Problem(ELSP) using time-varying lot sizes approach where production rates are decision variables. Previous research on this problem used common cycle approach. There is only one machine that can produce one product at a time but there are several different productions. We propose two heuristics to find a solution to the modified economic lot scheduling problem by using time-varying lot sizes approach. We illustrate the results with numerical examples.
