physical distribution is profitable material flows planned to distribute from
manufacturer to end user or distributor. However, compared with other
advanced countries, that portion of distribution industry in Korea is still
at its early stages. Government is promoting road, railroad, harbors, airport
etc as major nation policy business for logistics infra basis expansion, and
enterprise is planning improvement of circulation structure through private
logistics center construction and price competition. Logistics
center construction is very important to cut down for physical distribution
expenses. It is the one enhancing customer service and cut down expenses by
using the logistics system in link with the system of partner and competitive
companies, and it is though to be one of methods small and medium
distribution companies. This will cause a balanced development between
national economy and regional economy. Since the construction cost of
physical logistics center is high in terms of volume and it takes long time
to refund the invested money, expectant earning rate of capital is a primary
factor for investment companies to determine whether or not they should
invest. The logistics center which was discussed in this research should be
constructed in KyungNam YangSan-City.
This will contribute greatly to reduce the delivery cost and raise the customer
